Dielectric properties and environmental stress cracking resistance are also good. The melting temperature is 120 ~ 160 ° C. For the materials with large molecules, it is suggested that the melting temperature should be between 200 ^ 250 ° C. High density polyethylene (HDPE) is a kind of white powder granular product, non-toxic, tasteless, density in the range of 0.940 ~ 0.976 g / cm3; crystallinity is 80% 90%, softening point is 125 ~ 135 ° C, service temperature can reach 100 ° C; hardness, tensile strength and creep are better than low density polyethylene; wear resistance, electrical insulation, toughness and cold resistance are better, but slightly worse than low density polyethylene; The film has good chemical stability, insoluble in any organic solvent at room temperature, and resistant to corrosion of acid, alkali and various salts; The aging resistance is poor, and the environmental cracking resistance is not as good as that of LDPE, especially the thermal oxidation will reduce its performance.
